Sharing Knowledge at PACE Conference

(MARIETTA, Ohio) – Erica Chidester, medical programs manager and Curt Copen, industrial programs manager with Washington County Career Center – Adult Technical Training were recently featured speakers at the 2022 Ohio PACE (Post-Secondary Adult Education) Spring Conference in Dublin, Ohio.

The PACE organization serves as an advocate for Adult Career-Technical Education in Ohio and offers the Ohio Technical Centers (OTC) the information and resources they need to provide outstanding educational opportunities for adults.

Chidester and Copen spoke on customized training for business community. Featured subjects of the presentation included; customized training funding options available to businesses, types of training offered, execution of the training process, instructor involvement in the process and the importance of flexibility in location.

The Washington County Career Center – Adult Technical Training provides customized training to business and industry throughout Ohio and West Virginia. The school operates two 42 ft. industrial training trailers and has the capability to provide on-site training at any business.
