Washington County Career Center SkillsUSA recently elected its 2025-26 chapter officers. The Career Center representatives are:

President, Brooklyn, is a senior from Warren enrolled in the Patient Health Care program. She is the daughter of Mikel and Megan of Marietta;
Vice President, Blaze, is a junior from Waterford enrolled in the Medical College Prep program. He is the son of Nicole of Waterford;
Secretary, Abram, is a junior from Marietta enrolled in the Medical College Prep program. He is the son of Scott and Danielle of Marietta; and
Treasurer, Mason, is a junior from Marietta enrolled in the Medical College Prep program. He is the son of Troy and Lindsey of Marietta.
SkillsUSA programs help to establish industry standards for job skill training in the lab and classroom and promote community service. It is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and is cited as a "successful model of employer-driven youth development training programs" by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Career Center Chapter, part of a national organization, serves 13 vocational/technical programs, which are Auto Collision Repair & Refinishing, Auto Mechanics, Building Technology/Carpentry, Diesel Truck Mechanics, Electricity, Fire/EMS, Heavy Equipment, Masonry, Medical College Prep, Patient Health Care, Pre-Nursing, Sports Medicine & Exercise Science, and Welding. Locally there are about 425 Career Center student members.
Across the country, the organization serves nearly 250,000 high school and college students and professional members who are enrolled in training programs of trade, technical, skilled and service occupations.
