Congratulations to the Washington County Career Center Prom Royalty for the 2023-2024 school year. On Saturday, April 20, the Career Center held its 22nd annual prom at the Knight of Columbus in Churchtown.
The prom, with the theme “Vegas Vibes”, was attended by approximately 320 students along with chaperones and staff members. Prom Court King Candidates were: Elias, Carson, Webb, Garret, and Willis. Prom Court Queen Candidates were: Victoria, Rebecca, Sophie, Kasey, and Abigail.
The 2024 Prom Royalty are:
• KING: Elias is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. He is the son of Roland of Lowell and Christina of Williamstown, WV.

QUEEN: Kasey is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Sports Medicine & Exercise Science program. She is the daughter of William and Betty of Beverly.
• PRINCE: Carson is a senior from Warren enrolled in the Heavy Equipment program. He is the son of Jason and Kim of Vincent.
• PRINCESS: Victoria is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Jeremy of Coal Run.
With the student council hosting the event, students have an opportunity to attend the Career Center prom as well as their home school prom.
