Congratulation to the Washington County Career Center Prom Royalty for the 2018-2019 school year. On Saturday, May 11, the Career Center held its eighteenth annual prom at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Churchtown.
The prom, with the theme “A Moment In Time”, was attended by approximately 300 students along with chaperones and staff members.
The 2019 Prom Royalty are:
KING: Jaron is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Heavy Equipment program. He is the son of Doug and Karen of Marietta.
QUEEN: Kaitlyn is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Digital Marketing program. She is the daughter of Dale and Natasha of Marietta.
PRINCE: Atlas is a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Auto Mechanic program. He is the son of Rocky of Marietta and the late Emily.
PRINCESS: Keona is a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Patient Health Care program. She is the daughter of Elizabeth of Lowell.
With the student council hosting the event, students had an opportunity to attend the Career Center prom as well as their home school prom.
