PRACTICAL NURSING
The Practical Nursing program equips you with the essential knowledge and skills to pursue a rewarding career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on lab training, and real-world clinical experiences, students will develop a solid foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and critical thinking.

The curriculum prepares graduates to confidently meet the demands of a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-termcare facilities, physician offices,and home health agencies. Studentswill gain expertise in areas such as anatomy and physiology,pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, and patient assessment, ensuring readiness for the NCLEX-PN licensing exam and professional employment opportunities.
Students must pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) in order to be employed as a Practical Nurse.

PROGRAM INFORMATION
Prerequisites include:
+High School grade transcript or high school equivalency HSE transcript.
+Must pass pre-entrance exam. (TEAS Exam)
+Must have a STNA/CNA registry or provide a copy of your certification of completion for the Ohio approved course of 75 hours or greater.
