Medical Assistants are multi-skilled health professionals specifically educated to work in ambulatory settings performing administrative and clinical duties.

Medical Assistants often perform dual roles in the doctor’s office, performing both clerical work and working with patients. Gain the skills and knowledge that will enable you to qualify for positions as a Medical Assistant.

The Medical Assistant Certificate Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (https://www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB)

PROGRAM INFORMATION

In as little as one year, you could be on your way to a new career.
Students are provided with extensive hands-on training in both entry-level and advanced medical assistant competencies in accordance with the American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA) Essential Guidelines.
