ADULT TECHNICAL TRAINING

Emergency Medical Response (EMR)
Students will perform hands-on skills aligned with the Ohio Emergency Medical Responder scope of practice. During clinical or ride-along experiences, they may observe or assist—under direct supervision of certified EMS professionals—within the limits of EMR training and state regulations.

Train Hard. Respond Fast. Save Lives
The Emergency Medical Response course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize symptoms of illness and injury and to provide emergency first aid care. It is designed to train individuals who may be responding to an emergency situation as a second responsibility.
This course does not fall within the ACCSC institutional accreditation.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Registry Cognitive and Practical Skills exam. Upon completion of all course work, and successfully passing these exams, the student will become a certified National Registry and Ohio Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).
