CHEMICAL OPERATOR

This program utilizes distribution control systems simulators, cut-away & transparent models, and working demonstrators to enhance student skills to perform the duties of an operator.

Chemical Operator I prepares students to perform process jobs at chemical plants.

Course content includes...

  • Basic Processes

  • Valves and Hazmat

  • Process Instrumentation

  • Distillation

  • Computer Applications


  • Fans & Heat Exchanges


PROGRAM INFORMATION

You could be on your way to a new career in as little as three months.
The program prepares students to perform process jobs at chemical plants that include moving raw and processed materials, adjusting equipment control settings, recording data, and interpreting chemical reactions.
* Five Fridays are also required.
