Ohio Work Ready Grant

The objective of the Ohio Work Ready Grant is to provide funding to Ohio residents with the highest level of financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The Ohio Work Ready Grant will provide financial assistance up to, but not exceeding, $2,000 to eligible students enrolling at The Career Center - Adult Technical Training to obtain their training and certification. 

Guidelines

• Must be a current resident of Ohio.

• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have an EFC or equivalent measurement successor of 3750 or less.

• Provide proof of selective service registration (if applicable).

• Awarded applicant must maintain a 2.0 GPA and 90% attendance each quarter.

• Awarded student may receive up to $2,000, not to exceed total program cost.

• Awards are disbursed Quarterly.

• Priority deadline is 3 weeks prior to the start of the quarter.

• Complete the Ohio Work Ready Grant Application.
