Mr. Elliott’s News Minute

Thursday, April 2, 2020

Good Morning Career Center Family.

I hope all of you are staying healthy and well.

As you know, Governor DeWine ordered all K-12 schools in Ohio to remain closed until May 1. We all hope that this terrible virus will be going away by that time. Until we hear more updated information, this is for which we will prepare. Our online lessons will continue and those receiving work in the mail will continue to do so.

How About Some Good News?

Students, our SPRING BREAK is scheduled to be next Thursday, Friday, and the following Monday, April 9, 10 and 13. The Career Center is going to honor these days and we will all have a break away from school work. No assignments will be given during this time and both students and teachers can take these days and re-energize for the weeks ahead.

However, if you are behind in assignments and in getting things done, this would be a fantastic time to get caught up. Please use your time wisely.

Yesterday was April Fool’s Day.

Congratulations to Career Center student, Cami Ayers, for one of the best pranks in recent memory. Want to know more? Check with Cami. Again, well done, Miss Ayers. Well done.

A repeat from yesterday, because this is helpful for everyone. This appeared on CNN’s website about how to “coronavirus proof your home.” Please clink on the link below.

Today’s playlist comes courtesy of Mr. Kittle. Looks to be a little on the heavy side, but I can’t wait to listen to all of it. Enjoy and have a safe and healthy Thursday.
