Attention Career Center Students

Please make every effort to check your Career Center email (Microsoft Outlook) on a daily basis. Your instructors will be sharing assignments and additional information with you via this account. We will provide more information for account and login questions.

Remember to check the "Student Resources" menu at the top of this page for links to applications you may be expected to use including Schoology, CDX, Cummins and/or iCar.

If you have Internet access at home and are in need of a computer, please contact

Mr. Bradford via email (jbradford@thecareercenter.net) or via phone 740-373-2766 x4110. You can also use your smartphone to access your school email, access the app store and look for the Microsoft Outlook app. Schoology also provides an app that enables you to access your courses and submit work from your phone.

If you need Internet access, check with Suddenlink/Altice or Charter/Spectrum as both are offering free services for those in need during this challenging time.

Many area organizations and businesses are offering their wifi free to the public by extending to their parking lots including The Career Center. Students are welcome to drive up and complete lessons in their vehicles, more information will be shared soon. You should still practice safe social-distancing, remain in your vehicle.

We are also working on a "Plan B" for students who do not have a computer or smartphone and are without Internet. Please make every effort to contact your teachers via telephone 740-373-2766​ so we get you the class materials you will need.

AVI offers school lunches in the county and will be providing lunches throughout the closure. They will distribute food between 11-1 everyday in Marietta at the following locations.


Washington School: (401 Washington St) Harmar School (100 Fort Square)


Rivertown Grill: (10 Tiber Way) in Marietta Starting Tuesday we will be providing free school lunches to kids in need. We will provide tomato soup, grilled cheese, apple sauce and a juice box. Please if you know anyone struggling during this time 740-374-3007


Par Mar Stores: all students (school aged, or college aged) that are now out of school because of the Coronavirus pandemic from 11:00 AM thru 6:00 PM each day, now thru the end of March (student must be present).
