As the information technology era progresses, the responsibilities of the office worker continue to evolve. Those employed in this field utilize technology to conduct research, communicate with clients and co-workers, plan and deliver meetings, and coordinate schedules. Advanced computer application skills are essential for office employees. This field also requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
This program is designed to equip students with the computer and personal skills required for employment in office related careers and/or college.
